David Bennett Bio

David Bennett has been active in business and media for over ten years. He and his business partner and twin brother Jonathan write and produce content that is read, watched, and accessed by over 1.5 million people a year. He has co-authored seven self-help books, and is an in-demand speaker and consultant, working with the largest matchmaking services in central Ohio, Dating Directions and Affinity Matchmaking.

His writings have been referenced in various media outlets, including the New York Times, Huffington Post, and BBC. He has been used a reference in Girls’ Life, Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping, Brickell Magazine, and other print media. He has appeared as a guest on The Joel Riley Show on AM 610, Kiss My Ash Radio, WBNS 10TV, and other showsHe taught high school for over ten years.

David graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. While there he was inducted into the prestigious honor society Phi Beta Kappa, as well as other honor societies. After that, he graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a Master’s Degree. He also completed post-Master’s work in education, and was honored twice by “Ohio Magazine” for excellence in private school teaching. In 2009, he became a certified Nutrition and Wellness Consultant through the American Fitness Professionals and Associates. In 2011, he completed Model-Netics, a business and organizational management course, and became a certified practitioner of Neurolinguistic Programming in 2015.

In 2010, David, along with his brother Jonathan and friend Joshua Wagner began to explore why some guys were more successful socially than others. Why, they wondered, did some guys have a lot of friends, have women practically begging for their attention, and advance so easily at work, while others were lonely, dateless, and going nowhere at work? After thousands of hours of research and personal observation, and diving into diverse fields like psychology, nutrition, and even quantum physics, they discovered the “science of popularity.”

After finding out that any guy can become more popular by learning a few basic skills, their next question was, “why, outside of a few ‘pick-up artists,’ doesn’t anybody teach guys these skills?” Almost every guy wants to date pretty women, be the center of attention, and get the admiration of his friends and acquaintances, yet many guys become frustrated when they remain single and invisible to everyone.  Nobody was helping guys learn these skills…until David and Jonathan started doing it with The Popular Man.

Jonathan Bennett Bio

Jonathan Bennett is a writer, consultant, and business owner whose online content is read, watched, and accessed by over 1.5 million people a year. He has co-authored six books, and is an in-demand speaker and consultant. He is also a certified counselor in Ohio and a professor at the University of Phoenix.

He speaks often in the Ohio area on such topics as “Why Women Like Jerks,” “Surefire Signs A Girl (Or Guy) Is Into You,” and “How to Escape The Friend Zone.” He proudly partners with Affinity Matchmaking and Dating Directions, the largest matchmaking services in Columbus, helping their clients through his relationship and dating coaching.

His writings have been referenced in numerous media outlets (print and online), including Girls’ Life and The Wall Street Journal. He is a regular contributor to Digital Romance, Inc. and was a panelist at the Cleveland leg of the “Great Love Debate” national tour. He has appeared on WBNS 10TV in Columbus, Ohio and numerous radio shows. His content is read by over a million people annually.

Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts in history. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the prestigious honor society. He received a Master’s degree from Emory University, graduating at the top of his class. He has also completed post-Master’s work at Felician College in education. He is a certified chemical dependency counselor in Ohio.

In 2010, Jonathan, along with his brother David and Joshua Wagner began to explore why some of his students were more successful socially and academically than others. They started to ask important questions. For example, why did some people of all ages seem to so easily make friends and function so well socially while others were lonely? Also, why were some naturally skilled at dating while others failed to even get into a relationship?

After thousands of hours of research and personal observation in diverse fields like psychology, biology, brain science, and even quantum physics, the trio discovered the “science of attraction.” They then applied these principles in their own lives, seeing the incredible change. They reached out to help friends and gradually started taking on paid clients. This was how their business was born.

Almost every person wants to be popular, when popularity is defined as having the ability to make friends, get and sustain meaningful romantic relationships, advance at work, etc., yet nobody was teaching these important skills…until David and Jonathan started doing it with The Popular Man.
